About
A glimpse of my one wild & precious life.
A coach who blends neuroscience, intuition & a whole lot of heart.
I’m Christina Cherry — a burnout coach and play expert with over a decade of experience supporting people through personal and professional transitions. I help clients remember who they are and what lights them up so they can trade exhaustion for curiosity, joy, and aliveness. Grounded in neuroscience, mindfulness, and soulful self-discovery, I teach you how to reset your nervous system, rebuild energy, and protect your peace in ways that actually feel good. I believe that play isn’t a “break” from life — it’s a shortcut back to yourself, a reminder that you’re still capable of delight, wonder, and maybe a little mischief.
Growth does not have to be all grit and grind. I believe it can feel good. Energizing. Even playful. That’s where resourcing and energetics come in. I help you reconnect to your body’s wisdom, find steadiness in the swirl, and take aligned action from a grounded place.
I’ve walked the path myself.
I’m not just a coach, I’m a corporate leader-turned-entrepreneur who knows firsthand what it’s like to move through self-doubt, burnout, red tape, and reinvention. I’ve built businesses from the ground up, navigated growing pains, and helped other creatives, marketers, leaders, and business owners do the same — moving past blocks, clarifying their vision, and building lives and work that actually feel like them.
Years ago, a near-death experience cracked everything open for me. It made me question who I was, what I believed and how I wanted to live. That experience didn’t just shift my perspective — it reshaped my identity. It showed me what really matters, and it deepened my commitment to living and guiding from a place of authenticity, intuition, and joy.
I hold certifications in The Science of Wellbeing (Yale) and Managing Happiness (Harvard), and my approach is deeply informed by research from Dr. Stuart Brown and the National Institute for Play. My work draws from a range of powerful systems and teachers, including Gabor Maté (trauma and compassionate inquiry), BJ Fogg (habit science), Steven Peters (mind management), Peter Gray (play and learning), Peter Levine (somatic experiencing), and Bill Burnett & Dave Evans (design thinking for life). I also have a degree in Communications with minors in Spanish and Sociology, which has helped shaped my perspective on human connection and systemic patterns.
