  • Discover your personal play style and how you’re wired

  • Release the pressure to “keep up” or “do more”

WEEK 1 — Cabin Reflections

Turn off the autopilot and tune in. Feel into what drains you, restores you, and gives your system space to soften.

This week, you’ll:

  • Understand what burnout really is — and why it’s not about “trying harder”

  • Tune into subtle body signals about energy and stress

WEEK 3 — Field Day

Small, playful moments can change your whole day. Explore how your body, senses, and tiny experiments can shift your energy.

Theme: Embodiment, sensory play, and regulation

This week, you’ll:

  • Notice subtle physical cues and how your body signals safety and aliveness

  • Practice body-based play exercises to reset and energize

  • Build a personal Play Kit — a collection of tactile and sensory delights

WEEK 4 — Arts & Crafts Table

Imagination is your secret passage to curiosity and joy. Play with “what ifs” and low-stakes creativity to open your mind to aliveness.

Focus: From perfection → playful experimentation

This week, you’ll:

  • Explore how imagination supports healing, joy, and regulation

  • Practice being “bad” at things on purpose and let go of perfection

  • Try low-stakes creative experiments that spark delight

  • Build your own playful exercises and wonder practices

  • Feel lighter, freer, and more connected to your creative, curious self

WEEK 5 — Campfire Circle

Connection is the fuel that lights your nervous system. Experiment with playful interactions as a shortcut to trust, laughter, and shared energy.

Theme: Collaboration, trust, and relational joy
Focus: From performing → playful connection

This week, you’ll:

  • Learn why playful connection is essential for adults

  • Spot others’ Play Styles and meet them in ways that feel energizing

  • Experiment with social play — tiny interactions that foster connection

WEEK 6 — Trail Map

Look at how far you’ve come, what’s shifted, and who you’re becoming! Move from practicing to embodying by creating a living map to carry your energy, joy, and aliveness forward.

  • Reflect on six weeks of awareness, experimentation, and nervous system regulation

Meet Your Camp Counselor

HI, IT’S ME.

I know what it’s like to feel burnout so deeply that you forget who you are. To chase goals, to check boxes, and still feel empty.

As a corporate leader, I thought my job was the problem. And in part, it was — because we live in a culture that glorifies productivity and deliverables.

But truthfully, the problem was ME. My lack of my boundaries. My inability to say “no” when I was overwhelmed. My desire to be good, to be worthy, to be validated by everyone but myself.

I didn’t know that at the time, though. So I did what any ambitious, high-achieving person might do — I started my own company. My own schedule! My own hours! “This is the answer,” I thought. But wherever you go, there you are, and those old habits followed me. Soon, I was taking work calls after 6pm, over-servicing my clients, and burning out all over again.

It wasn’t until I was hit by a literal truck while I was crossing the street that I woke up and smelled the proverbial roses. That moment shifted everything. Gratitude for this beautiful, precious life cracked me wide open, and I began to see things through new eyes. It was time for a change.

Camp Playstate was born from that, from my own recovery and years of studying how play can reset the nervous system, rebuild energy, and help us come home to ourselves.

If you’re burnt-out in any capacity — mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually — I hear you. I am you. And I probably always will be, in some small way. Because the thing about burnout is that it doesn’t disappear — you learn to manage it. But it gets easier. So much easier, once you have the right tools. Now, when I find myself overcommitting, overdoing, over-anything — I know exactly what I need to come back to center.
